Rome-Fiumicino Airport LIRF now available for MSFS 2020 and 2024
Welcome to Rome-Fiumicino Airport LIRF, officially known as Leonardo da Vinci International Airport, Italy’s busiest aviation hub and the primary gateway to the Eternal City.
Located approximately 32 km west of Rome’s city center, Fiumicino serves as a major European and intercontinental hub. As the home base of ITA Airways and a key operating airport for numerous international carriers, LIRF handles a wide spectrum of traffic, from short-haul regional flights to long-haul widebody operations. Its multi-runway configuration and modern terminal infrastructure make it one of the most important airports in Southern Europe.
The Rome-Fiumicino scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator has been developed with a strong focus on realism, scale, and operational atmosphere. Every part of the airport has been carefully recreated to reflect the complexity and character of this major international hub.
